English Summary: North Korea has successfully tested a new air-defense missile system, according to state media. This test is part of a series of recent weapons demonstrations, and state media KCNA confirmed it involved a newly designed air-defense missile system and a cruise missile strike drill on Wednesday. KCNA reported that the test verified the technical specifications, new materials, and multiple guidance modes of the missile, as well as the system's ability to identify and track targets. A sub-unit of North Korea's long-range strategic cruise missile unit also struck a virtual airport target in a drill. This report appears to confirm a South Korean Defence Ministry statement and marks North Korea's fourth weapons launch in a month.
