ഇടത് സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ നവകേരള യാത്ര ആലപ്പുഴയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയെയും മന്ത്രിമാരെയും കരിങ്കൊടി കാണിച്ച യൂത്ത് കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകരെ സുരക്ഷാ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും ഗൺമാനും ചേർന്ന് മർദ്ദിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ കേസ് അട്ടിമറിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതിനാണ് എഡിജിപി എം ആർ അജിത് കുമാറിനെ സസ്പെൻഡ് ചെയ്തത്.
