English Summary: Police have launched an investigation into the mysterious discovery of black plastic ties on the gates and vehicles of around twenty houses in Muvattupuzha. Residents in wards 9 and 10 of the municipality are concerned after the ties were found on house gates and two-wheelers parked in courtyards. The police are intensifying their probe to uncover the mystery behind these incidents. The ties were found on gates, handlebars, and brake levers of two-wheelers in Kavumkara, Fresh Cola, and Market areas. Initially, locals suspected someone with mental health issues, but the repeated nature of the incidents and the selective targeting of houses have heightened their apprehension. Nine houses close to each other in Kavumkara had similar findings, raising fears among residents that this could be a prelude to crimes including theft. Locals report that the incidents occurred between 8 PM and 8:30 PM, specifically avoiding houses with CCTV cameras and targeting those further away.
