Once upon a time, in a cozy little house, lived two sworn enemies: Miaow the cat and Squeak the mouse. Like any classic cat, Miaow spent his days plotting, chasing, and dreaming of catching Squeak. But Squeak was no ordinary mouse-he was lightning-fast and incredibly smart, always staying one step ahead of the hungry cat.

One scorching hot afternoon, Squeak's tummy began to rumble. He decided to creep out of his tiny mousehole in search of a tasty snack. As he peered into the living room, he froze in surprise. There stood Miaow the cat and Bow-Bow the pet dog. But something was completely wrong.

Both the animals were standing perfectly still. Not a whisker twitched. Not a leg moved. They looked exactly like stone statues!

"I wonder what's wrong with them?" Squeak thought, scratching his head. He looked around curiously and listened closely. The only sound echoing through the quiet house was the grand melody of Jana Gana Mana playing loudly on the radio.

Suddenly, the music stopped. Instantly, Miaow and Bow-Bow broke their statue poses and started moving again.
"Ah, I see!" thought the clever little mouse. "I must remember this secret."

Feeling brave, Squeak continued his search for food. But unfortunately, luck was not on his side that afternoon. Before he could even find a crumb, a shadow fell over him. With a sudden pounce, Miaow leaped out of nowhere and caught Squeak tight in his paws!

"HAH! Gotcha!" Miaow celebrated, licking his lips. "I've been waiting forever to get my hands on you, you delicious little mouse!"

Squeak's heart raced, but he refused to panic. He knew he had to think fast if he didn't want to become the cat's dinner. Remembering what he had seen just moments before, a brilliant idea struck him.

Taking a deep breath, Squeak began to sing in a low, sweet, and solemn voice: "JANA GANA MANA..."

Hearing the national anthem, Miaow's instincts kicked in. He instantly dropped Squeak, stood straight up on his hind legs, and froze like a statue in respect!

Squeak's trick worked perfectly. Without wasting a single second, the clever little mouse scampered away as fast as his tiny legs could carry him, disappearing safely back into his mousehole.

It was only after Squeak was long gone that Miaow relaxed his pose and realized he had been completely fooled by a mouse. But it was too late-the clever Squeak had won the day!
